Welcome to the build journal
Why I'm starting a public journal of what I build, what works, and what doesn't.
This is the first post on the new Flaux site. The plan is simple: write down what I'm building, what worked, what didn't, and what I'd do differently.
Why bother
Most of the AI build content online is either marketing or hype. There's a middle layer that's hard to find: the actual decisions you make when you're shipping one-person software. So I'm going to write it.
What goes here
- App teardowns: what the thing does, the architecture, what AI did and what I did
- Friction logs: where the tools fall over, where they shine
- Process notes: how the workflow keeps changing as the tooling changes
Nothing fancy. Posts get written when the work is fresh.
